Welcome to the official members site of the ALPHA BETA "Archedians Society" fraternity and sorority.
ALPHA BETA, one of the nation's largest humanitarian service fraternity, was founded on August 21, 1960. In its early years it introduced the essential characteristics of such fraternities: an oath of secrecy, a logo, motto, a code of laws, and an elaborate initiation ritual. The organization is made up of men and women from all cultures, religious backgrounds and interests. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, disability, creed, political beliefs and sexual preferences. As members of the ALPHA BETA fraternity/sorority we are willing to do our very best to serve God, our country and most of all the Alpha Beta family. In order to achieve friendship, love, unity and high quality life believing that life isn't meaningless.

"Quit Not! For Once In, Never Out!"
ALPHA BETA, a college Fraternity/Sorority, now comprised of functioning Undergraduate and Alumni Chapters on major campuses and in cities throughout the country, is the crystallization of a dream. It is the beautiful realization of a vision shared commonly by the late Revered Founders Aries Alvares, Richard Sinamban and Christoper Abella.
It was the vision of these astute men that enabled them in the year 19601, more specifically the night of August 21, 1960, on the campus of Silliman University at Dumaguete City, Philippines, to sow the seed of a fraternal tree whose fruit is available to, and now enjoyed by, college men and women everywhere, regardless of their color, religion or national origin. It is a fact of which ALPHA BETA is justly proud that the Constitution has never contained any clause which either excluded or suggested the exclusion of a man/woman from membership merely because of his color, creed, or national origin. The Constitution of ALPHA BETA is predicated upon, and dedicated to, the principles of achievement through a truly democratic Fraternity and Sorority.
From its inception, Brother Alvares, Sinamban and Abella, served as the Grand Polemarch of ALPHA BETA Fraternity and Sorority. The infant Fraternity/Sorority was guided through the most perilous years of its life. Accordingly, much of the credit for the organization's survival through this period is shared by these three men.
From its inauguration, every endeavor was directed toward establishing the Fraternity/Sorority upon a strong foundation before embarking on plans of expansion. By the end of the first year, working together, Alvares, Sinamban and Abella had completed the ritual and had commenced work on the coat of arms. For years, in order to safeguard the ritualistic secrets of the Fraternity/Sorority.
Now substantially established and provided with a Constitution, Ritual, motto, and guiding hand in a dynamic Grand Chapter, the Fraternity/Sorority was ready for expansion. Thus ended the infancy of ALPHA BETA, whereupon the Fraternity embarked upon an era of expansion.
